Man held for killing mother after meeting her for first time in 20 years

KANAZAWA, Japan - Police arrested a 46-year-old man Monday on suspicion of killing his mother the day after meeting her for the first time in some 20 years at her home in Hakusan, Ishikawa Prefecture. The man, Masahiko Omura, an office worker from Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, was quoted by the police as saying he was angry at his 79-year-old mother Tomiko.
